OUR GRAFFITI PAINT OVER WAS A GREAT SUCCESS
Our recent paint over of graffiti is a great example of the joint efforts between our precinct and our council which benefits our community. We thank Captain John Philbin, Sgt. Daniel O?’Brien, Detective Eric Weiss, P. O. John Martinez and P.O. Beth Klein for all of their help for this event. Over 70 volunteers participated in this effort! The precinct council organized the event with the help of the precinct. We also must thank the students from Forest Hills High School and children from Kidz Care. We are thrilled that Kidz Care and Forest Hills High School joined with us. THANK YOU! The precinct provided four vans. It was a wonderful opportunity for neighborhood residents and our students to work hand in hand with the 112th precinct officers to better our community. The precinct council bought some of the supplies for this paint over using funds from the grant given to us by Councilwoman Melinda Katz. We received paint from the Mayor?’s Office.
