CalMAX Great Resource
Are you aware of CalMAX? Its a free service provided by the California Intergrated Waste Management Board. It is designed to help businesses find markets for materials that have been traditionally discarded and reduce waste in landfils.
They produce a wonderful quarterly catalog of available and wanted materials. The catalog is organized into material catagories: construction, electronics, organics, durable goods, paint, glass, metal, etc..Most items are very cheap or free, and you'll be amazed at what's in there. This is a great resource for any business or organization to get materials for that fix-up project.
