Are you too shy or too busy or sleepy to call 911? Perhaps you think
someone else will make the call, or it it is just not important enough.
We all have our excuses for not calling 911. Did you know that not
calling 911 is a normal reaction of many citizens? In order to make a
safe community where our children can safely play outdoors, and
people feel comfortable walking down the streets of our community at
any hour of day, we MUST call 911 and report gunfire in the
neighborhood, even in the wee hours of the morning, suspicious
activity, suspected drug or gang activity, suspicious door to door sales
persons, excessive traffic in and out of homes on your street, persons
knocking on your door asking for money for prescriptions / gas / food.
Eventually these people will get the message that we mean business
and their activities are not going to be tolerated in our community. The
Tucson Police are making their presence known in our neighborhood,
lets help them out as to where the problems in the neighborhood take
