HELP END AUTO THEFT THROUGH H.E.A.T. REGISTRATION
H.E.A.T. is a statewide vehicle registration program aimed at reducing auto theft during the hours of 1-5 a.m.
Owners not normally using their vehicles during those hours sign an agreement that allows officers to stop their vehicles and verify ownership if officers observe the car being operated during those hours.
