For years, long-time Athmar Park resident, Mr. Glenn Wilson, was in charge of mowing the lawn and his dear wife, Glenna, was in charge of weed control at their home in the 1500 block of W. Dakota. Rejecting chemical solutions, Mrs. Wilson found that getting down on her hands and knees and using a kitchen knife to cut off the weed?’s root deep below the surface was the best way to permanently rid the lawn of any pesky invaders.
After Glenna, a former schoolteacher and mother of two, died in 2002, Mr Wilson had to take over her weed-eliminator job. Getting down on his hands and knees to whack weed roots was much harder work than he had realized! Poor Glenna! So, Mr. Wilson invented a weed clipper that could be operated from a comfortable standing position!
A machinist before he retired in 1982, Mr. Wilson is custom-making this handy gardening tool. Inexpensively priced, the weed clipper even comes with a handy hook for hanging up in the garage. Give Mr Wilson a call at 303-774-7684. He?’d love to come demonstrate how to cut those dandelions off at the root so they never come back.
Your lawn and garden will be weed and chemical-free in no time! Mr Wilson thinks his dear Glenna would be so pleased.
