Denver DigsTrees - 25 New Trees for Athmar Park

On Saturday, April 17, 2004, over 2,500 trees were planted in Denver through the Denver Digs Trees program. 25 new trees were planted in Athmar Park! Thank you to Andy Davis and Carol e Campbell for site inspections. Thank you, as well to:
- Susie Kozoh, a former APNA Board Member who moved out to the ?‘burbs years ago and yet continues to run the Ruby Hill distribution site every year.

- Neighbors Debi Drews and Jeanette Zimmer for working at Ruby Hill.

- Librarians Susan Kotarba and Roma Smotts, along with other library staff and family members, for planting trees at the library.

- Jeffrey Frederico, Carrie Ollagos, and daughter Alyzabeth.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION to NE Quadrant Leader, Elroy Ortega, for volunteering to plant a tree for a disabled AP resident as well as for assisting to plant the 8 new trees at the library!

If you have a spot in your front yard for a street tree, watch for tree request forms next autumn. Let?’s keep the greening of Athmar Park going and help make a cooler, cleaner planet!
