UNWANTED CRITTERS

One of our neighbors recently found evidence of rats in their basement. A pest control company has taken care of the problem. To prevent these unwanted guests in your home, the pest control company has suggested that:
1) uneaten pet food on decks/patios be cleaned up after your pet has eaten,
2) do not dump food (pet or human) or pet waste in the sewer in front of your home (this just sits there until it rains) and
3) make sure you close your grill after cooking.
