Welcome to the BANTA NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION. The association was formed several years ago when the residents of the Woodhull?’s portion of the City of Valparaiso successfully requested rezoning by the B.Z.A. Since that time, it has been an inactive organization, but we are excited to announce its return. A new President has been chosen by our City Councilman, Ed Howe. Her name is Debbie Dohner and her enthusiasm for the B.N.A. is unmatched. Debbie lives at 402 Jefferson Street and can be reached at 464-9966. Please don?’t hesitate to call her with comments or suggestions. This premier issue of our new quarterly newsletter is generously sponsored by her as well. (Please note further information below.)

FIRST ANNUAL POT-LUCK PICNIC

Kirchhoff Park - 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Don?’t miss this opportunity to join your neighbors for an afternoon of food, fun and games. Each family should bring their own drinks, plates and utensils, lawn chairs and a dish to share. There will be a horseshoe tournament and a softball game. Horseshoes are provided, but you will need to bring your mitt and bat.
