MINUTES OF ANNUAL MEETING OF
BARBIZON PLACE SECTION I HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
MARCH 31, 2008

The 2008 annual meeting of the Barbizon Place Section I Homeowners Association was held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve Field House.

President Matt Ammons called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m.

President Ammons reported on the things the Board accomplished during the year just ended (April 2007 to March 2008) such as:

* Developed neighborhood website
* Repaired and replaced lighting at neighborhood entrance
* Fought cell tower proposal in conjunction with Spindletop and Longwood neighborhoods (Barbizon & Spindletop - $1,000, Longwood - up to $3,000)
* Fixed ponding in streets caused by heavy rains
* Held Easter Egg Hunt for children of the neighborhood (included Barbizon Section 2)
* Replaced old stop signs with new signs with decorative posts and spindles
* Organized neighborhood Block Watch

Copies of the 2007 Income & Expense Balance Sheet were handed out and reviewed.

Copies of the proposed 2008 Budget were handed out and reviewed.

Ballots were handed out and a call was made for nominations of individuals to be board members for the new year (April 2008 through March 2009). The following individuals were nominated: Matt Ammons, Betsy Keefe, Lori Martin, Nathan Stewart, Laurie Stuart.

Ballots were completed and turned in. They were counted by William and Mary Ellen Morrow. The following individuals were elected to serve for the next year:

Matt Ammons
Betsy Keefe
Lori Martin
Nathan Stewart
Laurie Stuart

At 7:50 p.m. the meeting was adjourned.

The new Board will have its first regular meeting on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
