We had a CREW (Community Restoration Enforcement Work) provided under the auspices of the SB County Code Enforcement Probation Department who cleaned an easement area in our neighborhood.

The CREW?’s mission is to provide supervision and support to youthful offenders in achieving community: accountability, restoration and recompense. CREW Teams are stationed to meet each district?’s unique needs in the Central Valley, West Valley, and Upper Desert.

CREW Teams worked at 139 different worksites from May 1998 to December 1999. That?’s $342,428 of work completed in SB County .

CREW?’s business numbers: Central Valley, 1494 East Art Townsend Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92408, 909.382.4172, fax 909.382.4146 The workers were young men and women working off community service hours ?— they really did a good job in helping make us healthier (there was a lot of garbage) and happier.
