NEIGHBORHOOD HAPPENINGS

Pancake Breakfast
Wilshire United Methodist Church will be serving a hearty Pancake Breakfast with fresh berries, sausage, eggs and beverage on Saturday, June 24, 2000 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
The cost for this delicious breakfast is only $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 10 and under. Funds from this event will be for church ministries.

Vacation Bible School
Bethany Lutheran Church is offering Vacation Bible School classes July 10-14 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. For details, call the church office at 284-3836. NE 37th & Skidmore.

CONCERTS IN THE PARK
Fernhill Park
July 9 and July 23, 2-4 p.m.
Free to all Portland residents. Bring a can or box of food for Neighborhood Food Bank. Antique cars are also featured.

CONCORDIA NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALES
July 14, 15, 16
Over 140 homes participated last year. Maps of sale locations available at any yard sale. Sales in area of NE 42nd to NE 22nd, Prescott to Lombard.

EASTSIDE OUTDOOR MARKET
Opening June 25th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. To be held twice a month:
July 16 & 30, August 13 & 27, Sept. 10 & 24
