A planning committee is forming now for the second annual neighborhood leaders?’ summit to be held winter 2001. Some of the ideas generated at the January 2000 summit included workshops to: increase participation in neighborhood associations; increase awareness of the ABC?’s of land use; understand the land use appeal process; brainstorm on web/Internet technology and other issues. The committee will plan for the following:
?· Create a theme
?· Develop a budget
?· Develop a timeline
?· Coordinate logistics
?· Identify workshops
?· Recruit facilitators
?· Recruit participants.
