Major Land Develpoment Proposal -209 Townhomes In Saturday’s paper in the legal section for New Castle County Land Use there is another proposal to build 207 Townhouses on the North and South sides of Reybold Road. This was tried several years back by Acierno. I went to the Land use meeting back then and the state government passed legislation to shut it down in a record three days. This land is Considered “Protected Wetland” This type of high density development will have a major impact on our community. I am concerned about flooding, Traffic and the probable increase of crime. If you could please notify the neighborhood that there is a meeting on this issue, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:00pm in the multi-purpose Rm, Gilliaim Bldg. 77 Reeds Way, New Castle.
