Beechwoods held a Board of Directors Meeting on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Orange County, Thompson Road Library.
Board members in attendance were Charlie Adkins, Debbie Rosenblum, Augie Valente and Dale Overmyer. There were 5 homeowners present and Linda Cusimano represented Attwood-Phillips.
Vice President Dale Overmyer called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
There was discussion and pictures about new signage for the entry walls. Linda had a quote from Sign A Rama for letters totaling $920.10 for each side. The letters will be gold and be 3/8 inch, laser cut Acrylic, 16 inches high and will be stud mounted. The installation of black marbleized tile using granite will be $1800.00 which will go in the picture frame under the letters and will be full tiles with no border pieces. The reimbursement from the insurance company for the broken sign was for $1100.00. Augie motioned to approve the granite and the letters, Debbie seconded and all voted in favor (Charlie did not vote as he had not arrived yet). Linda will do some research to determine if regular ceramic tile can be used instead of granite for a lower tile price.
Charlie motioned to approve the Minutes of February 8, 2006 as presented, Dale seconded and all voted in favor.
Linda gave the financial report for the period ending March 31, 2006.
Violation letters were discussed. Charlie said he did not see anything wrong with someone having a boat or trailer in the driveway for cleaning a day or two without a violation notice being sent. Boats must be stored in the rear yard behind a 6 foot fence or in the closed garage.
Linda will add to mailbox letters that they are to be painted gloss black.
Charlie motioned to adjourn at 8:09 p.m., Debbie seconded and all voted in favor.
