The City of Charlotte has funds available through its URGENT REPAIR PROGRAM to assist low and very low income households to address housing conditions which pose a serious threat to the lives and safety of residents living in the Belmont neighborhood. Homeowners living in the Belmont neighborhood are eligible!


Urgent Repair Program Eligibility Requirements:


*Must be a homeowner
*Must own and occupy the home in need of repair
*Must be low or very low income
*Must be elderly(62 years old), handicapped or disabled, a single-parent with a dependent child below the age of 6 years with a high blood lead level
*Must have urgent repair needs (which cannot be met through other state or federally-funded housing assistance programs.
