Roswell Avenue to Loma Avenue
4th Street to 7th Street
Euclid, Grand, Mira Mar and Termino Avenues
between 5th Street and 7th Street
Theresa Street between Termino and Roswell
Avenues,
Results of the BHCA survey of residents:
79% IN FAVOR of historic designation
15% NOT IN FAVOR of historic designation
6% UNDECIDED (need more information)
Historic designation provides residents with a tool for protecting the architectural integrity of their neighborhood through the implementation of established design guidelines for proposed changes to the exteriors of existing structures and new construction, while discouraging demolition of classic older homes, and thus contributes to the quality-of-life of residents, and the enhancement of home values.
