Belmont community organization is planning to help two three youths for the Christmas project.
They will be asking for donations from differnt places to help a youth in the Belmont Community. Also the Belmont Action Team has plans to help a family for Christmas those details are not available as of this date.

Belmont will get help from another donating Organization, Rebuilding Together will come to Belmont in April of 2004. They will do repairs on homes for the elderly and disable first and other eligible homeowners if possible.The repairs will be done in one day. They plan to bring 200 or more volunteers with them and residents from Belmont will join in to help make this happen.

The Belmont Community Developement is working hard to get ready to build homes in the Belmont area for residents who qualify. For details please contact Michelle Allen,Director at 704 335 0450.

Michelle Allen and Jennifer Price will host a show on All in the neighborhood on November 14, 2004. This show will be on channel 21. Whatch for it. Also the neighborhood organization will be hosting a show later.

The committees in Belmont, Beautification, Welcome, Public Safet/crome watch, Residents Rights, will be holding meetings starting soon. If you are interested please contact Diane English at aqua4265@msn.com for meeting times.

Belmont Neighborhood Community meeting for December will be held December 2, 2003 at 7:00 pm at the Belmont Center 700 Parkwood Avenue plan to attend if possible.

CMPD held several Buy and Sale projects in Belmont. There were drug bust and raids. There were arrest made in many of the buy sale and gun projects. Also they held license checks. Belmont wants to let you they are very greatful to their community officers DL> Cooper and KD Watkin, Captain Levins, Sgt. D> Price for the great work on cleanup crime in the Belmont neighborhood.
