BLANCO BLUFFS TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

New Traffic Rules and Procedures

The Board of Directors of the Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association, Inc., has adopted the following Traffic Violations affecting all residents and visitors in Blanco Bluffs as of the 1st day of January 2004.

Residents and visitors are subject to the following traffic violations and fines associated for the violation:
1. 1-9 miles over the posted speed limit, fine is $35.00 dollars
2. 10-14 miles over the posted speed limit, fine is $40.00 dollars
3. 15-19 miles over the posted speed limit, fine is $45.00 dollars
4. 20-24 miles over the posted speed limit, fine is $60.00 dollars
5. 25 or more miles over the posted speed limit, fine is $100.00 dollars
6. Disregard Stop Sign, fine is $70.00 dollars
7. Officer discretion (In compliance with city/state laws)


Traffic violations can only be issued by Texas Peace Officers. All fines are due and payable to Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association within thirty days of issuance. Homeowners and visitors may appeal a traffic violation to the Board of Directors. The Bylaws and Declaration shall govern the final resolution of all violations and shall also govern any corrective actions taken by the Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association, Inc. to enforce compliance, which may include legal action.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Upon purchasing a home in the Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association, Inc., all homeowners automatically become members of the Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association, Inc., and agree to abide by the terms of the Bylaws and Covenants. Those provisions are very restrictive and grant Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association, Inc., broad powers to manage the neighborhood and control the appearance and use of all homes located in the Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association, Inc. Those powers include the right to file a lien and a lawsuit against a homeowner at the homeowner’s expense in order to enforce compliance. It is important, therefore, that all homeowners are aware of, participate in, or are aware of the operations and decision-making processes of the Blanco Bluffs Homeowners Association, Inc.
