Open Letter to Bomber Heights Membership

Dear Members,

We are presently looking to fill two positions on the Executive Board. Rick has resigned his position as President. He has advised us he cannot perform the duties of this office. You know that Carol resigned the Vice President position a month ago because of health concerns.

According to our By-laws as to our purpose we want to enhance the quality of life in our community through the involvement of its members. We are asking who will be willing to step up to the plate as a candidate or interim candidate for either position.

There has been some suggestion that we go to quarterly or every other month meetings. The reason for this possible change is from talking to members in the past concerning these positions. Time is a factor. We have busy lives and we want to serve but due to time constraints those who may be interested in serving in this capacity are simply not able to do so.

We think you would all agree that our neighborhood has improved with the addition of Citizens On Patrol and the Association is creating a way for all of us to get to know one another. The time that is spent making this happen is well worth it!

We look forward to hearing from each of you. We have a great bunch of members and all want the Association to move forward! Please advise us as soon as possible with your positive response.

Sincerely,

Lu and Carolee

Dear BHNA Members,

I wanted to thank the BHNA members who came together for a neighbor in need. A couple of weeks ago there was a fire in the 4700 block of Fairfax. The actual fire damage was limited to one room but the rest of the house sustained heavy smoke damage. This past Saturday we helped Mr. Allen clear out the smoke damaged contents of the house and he was very grateful. I would like to thank BHNA members Harold and Betty Lasater, Charlene Presley and Rick Presley for their hard work! I would also like to thank Kent Keith who is not a member but is a friend of mine who stopped by to help! Also, thank you to Roy for the water and buckets! I took a couple of pictures to share with you all.

Sincerely,
Carolee Presley,
Secretary Bomber Heights Neighborhood Association
