Bonnie Brae Flowers at 747 S. University, has been in existence since 1941! The original owner was Margaret Wagner, and the 2nd/current owners, Harry and Mary Gobert, acquired the store in 1949. You?’ll usually find son Jim in the store now, who lives in the area and has children attending nearby St. Vincent?’s School. Jim says that the space occupied by the current flower store used to also include a children?’s store, until the late 50?’s when they were combined. There also used to be a greenhouse in the back where flowers and plants were grown.

Bonnie Brae Flowers is a great asset to our community, and they do very nice work! We hope you?’ll support them, as well as our other merchants that add charm and history to Bonnie Brae!
