Fight SJWC Dump-San Jose Water Co. Project Dropped!

Dear Neighbors:

I am happy to report to you that San Jose Water Co. informed my
office today
that they plan to drop their proposed project for the Williams Rd.
site.
They have decided pursue City permission for this project in another
location. This other property is in an industrial area away from
residential neighborhoods and will provide a more appropriate site
for the
project.

I want to thank you for your patience and support as we worked
together to
protect the residential character of your neighborhood. Your
assistance was
critical in my discussions with the water company, as I worked to
convince
them to find a more appropriate location. I would also like to thank
Christine Landau and Justin Milliun for their leadership within the
neighborhood. If not for their vigilance and effort it would have
been more
difficult to convince the water company to look elsewhere.
