What do you believe is the one thing (or things) that Selectman can do to make this town a better place to live? How should they be judged?
Here's a few of my thoughts/suggestions:
1) Fix the condition of the roads. Is there a plan in place for this? There should be.
2) Restore accountability. Decide once and for all on a form of Government and get a good manager in place and when you do, defend that person so they can do their job.
3)Be honest. Selctman can't sure all of our ills. Don't BS about things you can't change.
4)Be more open. Don't create impressions of back room deals, publish agendas two weeks in advance and encourage citizens to get involved.
5) The Board used to be run by town fathers who cared about the town's future now it seems like it's run by people with political ambition or a particualr vendeta to settle.
