Gate Abuse

On several different days residents have observed people trying to come in the exit gates. These gates are for EXIT use only. Please help and start taking license plate numbers if possible so that we can turn these into the Shreveport Police Dept. This is breaking the law as these gates are posted with DO NOT ENTER written facing the cars outside the gate. Also, please use CAUTION when exiting the gates. We have had a couple of incidents where residents vehicles have been damaged by exiting the gates. Please ALWAYS allow the gate to cycle after a car has driven through even if it appears that you would have time to make the exit. The gates are programmed to allow only one vehicle at a time!

We all need to work together on this as it affects all of us through our liability insurance premiums which will eventually be assessed to us through increased homeowners dues.
