Burnside/Couch Transportation Plan Open House:
Will be held Feb. 17th:

St. Francis-On January 20th , Susan Lindsay met with Commander Rosie Sizer of the SE Precinct and Valerie Chapman, Pastoral Administrator for St. Francis Church to discuss the recent spate of drug busts on the grounds of St. Francis. Commander Sizer the police would like access to all of the St. Francis property when dealing with drug dealers as she believes that there is drug dealing going on inside the dining hall and feels that the police should have access to that area. In the past, Chapman has refused to give the Portland Police access to the dining hall on the grounds that it is a “spiritual sanctuary”. Susan Lindsay asked Valerie to discuss this issue with the members of the parish, which she agreed to do.

Burnside Bridgehead- Jim Andrews gave a brief recap on the latest developments regarding the Bridgehead project and noted that there have been no new developments in the past week or so.

Meeting adjourned at 7:15.

Submitted by Lily Witham, Secretary.
