Mike Bender presented his plan to rent the Nocturnal space turning it into a neighborhood bar/restaurant called the EastBurn. The will own & operate the business with his brother, Matthew who is relocating from Philadelphia. They plan to be open for business in September.
Linda Rhoads agreed to take on the role of treasurer. The current treasurer, Ann Bowling is retiring after 10 years of volunteering with the BCA.
Discussion regarding $800 that needs to be spent on ‘communication’ before the end of June.
Ideas include – sign caps for the street signs, a copy card or credit, hiring an intern for some web or newsletter work.
South East Up Lift is hosting an ice cream social on July 2 for all SEUL neighborhood board members.
