Meeting called to order

Police Report (Officer Andrew E. Edgecomb)

Liquor Committee (meets the first Thursday ~ 7:15 pm, after Board meeting in Central Catholic Faculty room)
Basement Pub new GNA presented / owner available for questions
B. Eastman moved accept agreement, 2nd by J. Andrews; vote carried
Committee is gathering liquor incident data from SE precinct
Green Papaya is moving into neighborhood, need to look at GNA
Concerns raised about new bar on Belmont
(GNA = Good Neighbor Agreement)

Land use (committee meets the last Thursday 6:30 pm, in Central Catholic Faculty room)
Tice Electric site (SE 21rst & Belmont)
Development on SE 20th & Morrison -draft letter presented to be sent to City raising concerns about development
J. Andrews moved letter be sent on behalf of BCA, 2nd by C. Lamb-Mullin, carried

City of Portland Planning (Bill Cunningham)
Presentation / discussion of various historic districts & designations / Recommends meeting w/ interested neighbors so that process can be learned, time frame set.

“Buck for Buckman” Campaign – collect $ to help preserve historic character of neighborhood & homes;
C. Lamb-Mullin moved to support using SEUL as conduit, B. Eastman 2nd, carried

Minutes from 10/12/06 BCA General Meeting approved.

Big Pipe Grant $ - $2 mil. available for work w/ in .5 mile of project; 01/08/07 application deadline
