On Ash Wednesday, February 9, 2005, CFNBA Business Leadership Council was installed by The Honorable Judge Joseph Donald, Branch 2.
It is a 21-member cabinet of business professionals that will be a ¡§decision making¡¨ voice for the membership of CNI/Fondy North Business Association.
This council will provide bold and innovative leadership from and for the Inner City of Milwaukee.
Mission Statement:
CFNBA Business Leadership Council Mission is to promote thriving businesses in the Inner City that are linked. This vision is fulfilled through neighborhood governance, stakeholders participation, education attainment, creating safe streets, encouraging gainful employment, guiding and protecting our children, respecting our seniors, promoting social responsibility, identifying and marketing business services, promoting accountability of government and private funding; and, promoting business development empowerment policies that are unique to Inner City business owners for positive neighborhood net worth and long-term sustainability.

OPERATION SAFETY
CFNBA Business Leadership Council has created Operation Safety.
It is an ongoing strategic plan for sharing and accessing information that will help our stakeholders empower themselves. It includes the following:
„h Creation of CFNBA Neighborhood Greeters Program ¡V foot/bike/car patrol ¡V June, 2005.
„h Businesses Signup for Risk Management Survey.
„h Identifying and linking-with coordinated safety services of district 3rd, 5th, 7th districts.
„h Identifying and linking-with coordinated safety services of the Sheriff Department.
„h Identifying and linking safety services of CDBG Neighborhood Strategic Planning Areas.
„h Identifying and linking safety services of neighborhood block watch, association, school, church, etc.
„h Identifying Neighborhood Weblink Resource Centers for access to computer data.
„h Evaluation - reporting and updating quarterly at the Reality Check Symposiums ¡V a two-day symposium to address government and privately funded programs, plans and projects of the Inner City.

We know that everyone must participate in order for us to get our arms around the crime and safety issues of the Inner City neighborhoods of which we live, invest, grow families and do businesses.
