May Meeting Minutes

The Police Dept sent two officers to talk about Neighborhood Watch. Development of a phone tree, home security and identification of valuables were among the topics discussed this month.

Jackie informed me that she would be moving and rezined her position as president. I nominated Jessica Barraza to be her replacement. Also Charmaine Fajardo took the office of Treasurer. We are still one more officer. Anyone interested should contact myself, Jessica or Charmaine.

More lawn signs were placed out in front of members homes as reminders with more to come before next months meeting. A Park Day is scheduled for July 16th and we will be holding a fund raiser along with free admitance to the pool, and many city services passing out information. Volunteers are needed to help with the fund raiser.

The Sacramento Tree Foundation will also be on hand to discuss preliminary plans of planting 35-40 new trees in the park this fall. This will be another opportunity to volunteer and work side by side with your neighbors. With 20 volunteers we can get the work done in just a couple of hours.
