HOME SECURITY LIGHTING Becoming a Problem?

No, you didn?’t misread the heading. After hearing of a neighbor?’s concern, I took a drive shortly after dinner, to see just what they were talking about. Sure enough, almost every street had one of these situations. And I can clearly see the problem.

Neighbors have installed ?‘security lighting?’ on the front of their homes, which is the responsible thing to do. But some have installed bright flood lamps, with motion sensors. Hey folks, please adjust these lamps so that they do not shine across the Street. Shining lamps beyond your property makes no sense at all - And, it?’s an ordinance violation!
