Remember to Think Twice About Outdoor Storage

Jul 27, 2003

One of the most common blight violations is outdoor storage. In residential districts, outdoor storage must not be visible from beyond the bounds of the property. Outdoor storage includes such items as: building or landscaping materials, machinery, parts, appliances, or items for commercial use or use at another location.

Personal property stored in front or side yards, including in carports, must not be visible from beyond the bounds of the property.

There are also restrictions on outdoor storage in non-residential districts.

For more information on outdoor storage requirements and how to maintain your property call the Neighborhood Services Department at 602-262-7488. . . ☻
