Property Theft-Vandalism You Could Be Their Next Target!

Property Theft-Vandalism
You Could Be Their Next Target!

All you have to do is continue to not observe what is going on in and around your neighborhood and refuse to pick up the telephone to call Crime Stop (262-6151), when you see ?‘strangers?’ lurking around or one?’s inappropriate behavior. Tough remark? You bet it is. But it is also the truth, however uncomfortable.

I received a call this morning from one of our ?‘new neighbors?’. They purchased a lovely home near the park and were so pleased to be in such a nice neighborhood. Well, they have been welcomed into our neighborhood by a series of incidents involving theft and vandalism (the willful destruction of private property). Their home has an alley to the rear, backed up to the Moon Valley High School.

It appears that the southeast corner of the park and the alley in question, have become a gathering point of transients and youth. Once again, the police are trying to manage the situation, but they can?’t do an effective job without our help/calls. We do not have the right to complain about what the police don?’t do, if we aren?’t doing our part. It?’s that simple?’

Apathy, Complacency and ?‘Not Wanting To Get Involved?’, doesn?’t get the job done. So please:

?• Try being a little more observant of ?‘what?’s going on?’ in your neighborhood.
?• Take the time to pick up the telephone to call and notify Crime Stop at 262-6151.
?• Stand up for Your Neighbors and Your Neighborhood!
