If your creditor calls or mails you a notice that states you have not made that December payment, (when you really did) don?’t be too suprised. A number of mailboxes were robbed in our neighborhood on December 15. Exactly how many will not be known until each neighbor receives their next invoice from their creditor.

PLEASE, no longer place any payments in the mailbox outside your home. It is not safe!

Take the time to drop them in a ?‘Blue Mailbox?’ at the market where you shop or somewhere near your place of employment. These Thieves are taking the mail, searching for checks, and then erasing the ?‘pay to?’ and inserting their own or another name.

Needless to say, if you didn?’t stop payment and re-issue the check, you are out the money. Neither the Post Office nor the Creditor will refund your loss. So, it?’s up to you to protect your payments. Take the time to use the ?‘Bluebox?’ or gamble on your loss. . . ☻
