Got a little time on your hands? Or just want to expand your knowledge base and do something really interesting? Kristy Florian-Felton, with the Special Programs section of the Public Affairs Bureau, writes us that they are seeking applicants to participate in the Public Affairs Bureau Citizens?’ Police Academy. The Academy, a nine-week program facilitated by Kristy, along with Sgt. Tina Gonzales, is intended to give citizens of Phoenix an inside look at law enforcement. Kristy says, ?“Most of the participants go away with a much better understanding and appreciation for officers and how and why they react as they do.?”
