DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Call Leads To a Standoff

Several neighbors heard the shots. None were quite sure where they came from. Few called in. But fortunately, at least one did. This could have been a ?‘Recipe for disaster?’.

As it turned out, the mother and children were sparred serious injury, or worse, thanks to the rapid response of our Cactus Park Precinct officers. Their professionalism, training and caring stood out again.

This points out the necessity and reward for ?‘Picking up the telephone?’ and calling in your suspicions, your concerns for a neighbor. Domestic Violence is on the rise in our community and it will only get worse if ?‘Good Neighbors Do Nothing?’. . . ☻
