No Holiday Cheer for the Bad Guys! Granada Neighborhood Assoc

As we approach the Holiday Season, let?’s make sure we don?’t make it a happy, joyous time for the bad guys. When going shopping, go with a family member or friend, park in a lighted area, and-keep your packages out of sight by locking them in the trunk of your car. Be wary of solicitation for charities. When contacted by phone for donations, don?’t commit yourself at that time. Ask them to send information to you, and then make sure the info is legitimate. If solicitors come to your door, ask them for I.D. and for literature on the charity. Let them know that if you decide to donate to the charity, you will do so by mail. If they want the donation immediately, beware! Let?’s all be careful so OUR Holidays will be happy and fun filled-- not THEIRS!. . . ☻
