?‘Storm Drain Dan?’ brings pollution message to neighbors, young and old
?‘Storm Drain Dan?’, a concrete storm drain that magically came to life one day, is the main character in two coloring / activity books for kids, presented by the Street Transportation Department?’s Storm Water Management Section at the city of Phoenix.
?‘Storm Drain Dan?’ wants to let everyone know that it?’s important not to pollute storm drains and our beautiful desert environment.
As he flies over the city, his telescopic vision allows him to look for people who dump trash or oil in the streets, who don?’t clean up after their animals, who use pesticides improperly and others who pollute.
The ?‘Storm Drain Dan?’ activity books follow his adventures with neighborhood children as they educate residents on environmentally safe ways to dispose of pollutants.
