Minority Business Owners to be Honored at Celebration

10th annual Minority Enterprise Development Week

The 10th annual Minority Enterprise Development Week (MEDWEEK) Awards
Breakfast will recognize successful minority business owners and
their advocates, 7 – 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27, Phoenix Civic Plaza,
Third and Jefferson streets.

This year, six awards will be presented in the areas of services,
retail, construction, technology, supplier/distributor and
manufacturer. Two minority business advocate awards also will be
presented in the individual and corporate categories.

A business opportunity fair with more than 100 exhibitors will
immediately follow the awards breakfast. Both events will help to
promote partnerships between minority businesses, corporations and
government agencies.
