Holiday Decorating Contest

We would like to congratulate the winners of our 1st annual Holiday Decorating Contest. There were two winners chosen from each section of the neighborhood who were awarded $25 gift cards from Wal-Mart and one overall winner who received a $50 gift card from Wal-Mart. All winners received a free neighborhood membership for 2008.

THE WINNERS
Overall winner: Barry Blandford located at 8220 Candleglow Lane.

Southern Section: Earl Brown 1204 Tallow Lane and Joe Brown 8220 Afterglow Drive

Western Section: Betty Meadors 8221 Candleglow and Mike & Carla Farqour 803 Candleglow Ct.

Eastern Section: Elmer Logsdon 8025 Afterglow and Carol Eubanks 512 Candlelight Lane

We would like to thank all that participated. And all of the volunteers who helped judge the houses. This was the first year for this event and it was a success but in order to continue with more neighborhood activities we need more participation from the neighborhood itself. Please join us at our next neighborhood meeting on March 6, 2008 with your ideas for more activities we can plan for this year or years to come.
