Capitol View Neighborhood Association

Welcome to Capitol VIew

MISSION STATEMENT

The Capitol View Neighborhood Association exists to bring the community together and to work to improve the quality of life in Capitol View. We are a volunteer organization! We hope you will join us in our effort to improve and maintain the safety and beauty of our neighborhood. Meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Perkerson Park Recreation Building at 770 Deckner. E-mail us and we will put you on the mailing list to receive monthly reminders of the meeting.

EXPANDED RECYCLING

Residents who have City of Atlanta Recycling bins can now add mixed paper to their curbside bin. To clarify, mixed paper is composed of old magazines; old catalogues; junk mail; office paper; telephone directories; envelopes; and boxboard, which is composed of cereal boxes, shoe boxes and tissue boxes. Do not include old corrugated cardboard in your curbside bin. Corrugated is only accepted at drop-off locations.

Call Linda Disney, Atlanta's recycling coordinator, at 404-330-6776 if you have questions about the recycling program expansion.
