It has been exciting this summer to watch and see just how much the neighborhood improved. It was fun seeing the extra effort and pride many of you took in the maintenance and upkeep of your property.
Many of you even added beautiful landscape additions, palm trees, flower gardens, waterfalls and interesting arrangements of plants and mulch.
You made it very difficult for the judges to determine the monthly Yard of the Month winner!
After the inspections were completed, we usually selected a primary and an alternate winner in case there were problems awarding the primary winner. Thankfully that was not a problem this year.
The recipient of the award got to display the Caroline Ridge ?“Yard of the Month?” sign in their lawn until the next month?’s winner was selected and they received a nice gift card from Lowe?’s to help them purchase something else to beautify their property or for anything else they needed.
Even though fall has arrived, we still encourage all of you to keep up the great efforts which make our neighborhood a beautiful place to live.
On that subject, since fall has arrived, September was the last month we awarded the Yard of the Month.
The association will resume this valuable program in the spring. So in the mean time we hope all of you will begin planning for that spring lawn now by fertilizing and treating the weeds so that your yard will be ready when spring?’s warmth returns and the grass and flowers begin to bloom.
Thank you again to every homeowner for all the hard work and effort you took this past growing season. It was why Caroline Ridge is such a great place to live!
