For those of you who do not know, I have taken over Betty Hendricks position as President of the association until the elections in January 2004.
At that time, the association can vote in the President of their choosing. I encourage everyone interesting in running for a board position to be at the October meeting so you can announce your candidacy as per Florida Statute 718.112(d) (3) Ch.2003-14. You may also mail or e-mail your intent to run for a Board position ahead of the October homeowner?’s meeting so your name can be put on the ballot. Having said that, it is my pleasure to be representing all of you, as myself and the board strive to make sure Caroline Ridge is a safe and pleasant place to live.
As I have gotten acclimated to the job of being President, I have noticed that some people have problems and don't know who to contact or how to get them resolved. Let me assure you that the Board of Directors are here to help you. If you have a problem, you can contact us through either our email address, carolineridgehoa@netscape.net or by calling 564-9194 and leaving a voice message. All messages are relayed onto me and I make sure your concerns are addressed. Communication is the key to having a great neighborhood to live in and I want to make sure all of you understand that you have a say in what goes on in our community.
I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can at the Homeowners Meeting on Saturday, October 11th from 10-11am at Sunny Acres Park. I think this will be an informative meeting, as well as a time to voice any concerns you may have. Please make every effort to attend, so that you can hear first hand what is going on in your community.
