NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME!

There have been several reported problems in the neighborhood recently.
One neighbor reported several youths on her back porch at 2 A.M., so she called the police. Since they didn?’t find anyone around when they arrived, all they could do is take a report.
Another neighbor reported that they thought illegal drug dealing activity was occurring at a house near their home, however, they did not call the police nor want to get involved in solving the problem.
Finally, we have had several garages broken into because an owner left the garage door up, even while they were home. Burglars look for easy targets, so don?’t be one.
We want to stress to everyone that if you witness a crime happening or know of an illegal activity, please report it.
Our Neighborhood Watch Captain has asked the Sheriff?’s Department to step up their patrols during the holidays.
This is also a great time to solicit help for our neighborhood watch program. Your neighborhood is only as safe as the level of owner participation in this program.
