COVENANTS

The Board would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of our covenant which provides that in Carriage Place no lot shall be used as a parking, storage, display or accommodation area for any type of house trailer, camping trailer, boat trailer, hauling trailer, self-contained motorized recreational vehicle, running gear, boat or accessories thereto, motor driven cycle, truck, any junk vehicle or one under repair, or any type of van except as a temporary expedience for loading, delivery or emergency. The same shall be stored, parked or maintained wholly within the garage area or concealed from the street by means of a fence or other acceptable screen.

Let's make 2006 a covenant-violation free year. Last year, a significant portion of the membership dues collected was spent on covenant enforcement. The Board would much prefer to spend the dues collected on community picnics and garage sales; however, enforcing the covenants helps to maintain the value of our homes and the integrity of our neighborhood. For those reasons, the Board will take all steps necessary to see that the covenants are enforced. Thank you for your cooperation.
