He will have a slide presentation about gang dress, graffiti, behavior, and a report on the amount of gang activity in our area.
REMINDER: Water restrictions still apply until September 30th. It is a violation to water lawn or landscape in manner that wastes water or causes runoff on to sidewalks, street, driveway, or other non-landscaped area. Watering is prohibited between 10 am and 6 pm. Report violations to 311.
KATRINA: The Salvation Army needs your repairable appliances or furniture. Part of what they do is train people to repair and reupholster furniture. These items are needed by the evacuees of Hurricane Katrina. Rather than placing these usable items at the curb for bulky trash to send to our land fills, call the Salvation Army to request a pick up.
BULKY TRASH - Our neighborhood pickup week starts on the FIRST Monday of the month. Trash may be placed at the curb NOT BEFORE the Thursday before the first Monday. Fine is $290.00 – First Offense
October – First Monday is October 3.
November – First Monday is November 7.
December – First Monday is December 5.
January ’06 – First Monday is January 2.
GARBAGE PICKUP – Regular Trash – Mondays and Thursdays – Carts may not be placed at curb prior to 6 pm the night before pickup and must be removed from curb by 8 am the day after pickup. Recycle day is Monday and should be placed next to cart.
