Raccoon Update to Jan. '07 Newsletter!!

If You Encounter a Sick Racoon . . .

If you encounter a sick raccoon (this information only applies to sick animals), you may call, at any hour of any day (including weekends) 397-2096 and leave a message. This recording is monitored by Animal Control officers who will respond to your information as to location and description of behavior.

Your other option is to call 911, state 'this is not an emergency' and when given permission, describe your situation. The 911 people will relay your information to Animal Control.

Please do not use these numbers to report information about healthy raccoons.

This information should be construed to replace the advice given in the second paragraph on Page 2 of your January 2007 CHNA newsletter (which can be found elsewhere on this website, or by clicking this link).
