Special Cleanup Event for Elderly and Physically Disabled

Apr 02, 2003

B&B Leasing will continue a special pickup for elderly or physically disabled persons needing assistance. There is a limit of four-35 gallon trash cans or the equivalent for a pick-up. All trash must be at curb-side the morning of April 26, 2003. The pick-up will be at the discretion of the driver. This special service is intended only for those unable to dispose of their trash due to age or a physical disability. To arrange for a pickup, call B&B Leasing at 503-656-8403.

Last year the drivers for B&B Leasing went out of their way to help some participants and we really appreciate all their efforts. We would like to thank all the community participants who assisted in last years projects. Special thanks go to B&B Leasing, Haggen Food and Pharmacy, Bud?’s Towing, Metro, SOLV and especially to Oregon City and Metro Enhancement for their support of the Cleanup and Enhancement Committee. There are many other businesses in Oregon City that take pride in our community and we wish to thank everyone for their support. For more information about the First City Cleanup and Enhancement April 26 event, please contact Lynda Orzen, Project Coordinator at 503 313-0024 or email at Orzep@bctonline.com. You can also find more information at the Oregon City website, www.orcity.org/ under Hot Community Events as well as information about the transfer station and recycling.
