We live in an age affording us little spare time. However, many of us have thought about how nice it would be to lend an occasional hand to an elderly, sick, or injured person without having to go far from home to do it. Here's your chance to put that thought into action!
The Caufield Association of Neighbors is developing a "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" program for our own neighborhood. Occasionally, a neighbor may be in need of a hand due to an unforeseen illness or emergency. A hand with Lawn mowing, small repairs around the house, a trip to the market, walking the dog, or just to have a conversation over a cup of coffee or iced tea can be so appreciated.
We are asking neighbors who would be interested in lending an occasional hand, to email Ron Hiatt, rjhiattor@aol.com, or Cathi VanDamme, crvdamme@aol.com to add your name to our "Will Lend a Hand" data base.
