Community Health Fair

Dallas VA Medical Center Welcomes the Public to Annual Community Health Fair

DALLAS – VA North Texas Health Care System will host its 26th Annual Community Health Fair Saturday, November 7, at Dallas VA Medical Center located at 4500 S. Lancaster Rd.  This year's event will be held in the Spinal Cord Injury Center, multipurpose gym, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Free services will be provided to the community, including:

• Blood pressure checks
• EKG tracing
• Prostate screening
• Information regarding legal aid, DART, Social Security Administration, Urban League of Dallas, and other various services.
• Limited quantities of flu vaccines will be available for veterans only (must bring veteran identification card or DD-214).

Mammogram services must be pre-registered with Methodist Health Connection at 214-947-0026. Financial assistance available for those who qualify (sponsored by Susan G. Komen For the Cure).
