The committee recently met to discuss the location of middle school #8, it?’s roadways and the possible traffic impacts on Long Avenue. The response to the questionnaire in the March newsletter was minimal, but the voices were clear ?– no more traffic on Long! Based on the concerns, Chenango?’s attorney will be scheduling a meeting with Cherry Creek Schools, to address these issues as quickly as possible. Castle Rock Development has filed their Framework Development Plan (FDP) with the City of Aurora. Castle Rock has stated, in writing, to Chenango that they will obtain Aurora?’s comments to the FDP and then proceed with revisions that would address any issues raised by Aurora at the same time they address the issues raised by Chenango. In the meantime, to insure notification, Chenango?’s attorney will again inform Aurora of the community?’s objections to the plan.
