Swimming Pool & Pool Area Rules
Adopted 2005
1. The pool will be open at 8 a.m. and close at 9:30 p.m. Usage outside these hours is considered trespassing.
2. There is no lifeguard on duty.
3. Diving is not allowed at any time.
4. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a resident that is at least 16 years of age, or a person that is at least 16 years of age and has been designated by the resident to supervise their children.
5. Each residence may bring up to four (4) guests to the pool per visit. All guests must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a resident that is at least 18 years of age. Exceptions can be made by submitting written request to the board (i.e. birthday parties, etc).
6. Glass containers are not permitted in the pool area.
7. No smoking.
8. The pool furniture is not to be removed from the pool area. Furniture other than that provided is not to be brought into the pool area. Pool furniture is not to be thrown in the pool as it damages both the furniture and the pool.
9. Showers are required before entering the pool. Tanning oils are not allowed in the pool.
10. Any persons having sore/inflamed eyes, nasal/ear discharges, open wounds, or any skin, infectious, or communicable disease shall be excluded from the pool.
11. No running, pushing, scuffling, splashing, or rough play is permitted in the pool area.
12. No radios, television sets, or tape-recording/playing devices, except for personal stereos with headphones, shall be permitted in the pool area.
13. The gate to the pool area is to remain closed and locked at all times. It is NOT to be propped open or otherwise left unsecured.
14. All bobby pins, hair pins, and other such items that can clog the filtering system are to be removed before entering the pool.
15. Objects such as Frisbees, volleyballs, and the like are not allowed in the pool area. Only feather-weight objects such as beach balls may be used with discretion. Only rubber-coated sinking devices may be used for diving games.
16. Residents and their guests are responsible for removing all articles they bring to the pool (including towels, books, magazines, pool toys, trash, etc.) at the time they leave the area.
17. No animals are allowed in the pool area.
18. The pool telephone is provided for the safety and convenience of all residents and guests, but is primarily for emergency purposes only. Phone calls should be limited to one minute or less.
19. No bicycles, skateboards, or roller blades are to be permitted in the pool area. Do not block or create obstacles to get to pool entry.
20. Proper swimwear must be worn while in the swimming pool. Cut-offs, gym and casual shorts, and thongs are not allowed to be worn in the swimming pool. Babies must wear approved swim diapers or a snug diaper with rubber pants and a swim suit.
21. Homeowners are responsible for making the rules of the pool known to their residents and their guests. Homeowners are responsible for any damages or acts of their residents or their guests.
Failure to comply with the pool regulations will be grounds for the exclusion of all residents of a home and their guests from the pool area. At the discretion of the board, the following consequences will apply:
FIRST violation can result in a written warning from the Board.
SECOND violation can result in suspension of all pool access for two weeks.
THIRD violation can result in suspension of all pool access for thirty days.
FOURTH violation can result in suspension of all pool access for the remainder of the season.
